Choosing makeup that suits your eye colour can be very hard at times, but now it can be easy! When using Hemmings

“Since brown doesn’t have an opposite or complementary colour on the colour wheel, most eye shadows will work
with brown eyes”.
Here are a few simple makeup tips for brown eye gals to look your best and enhance your natural beauty.
Step 1: You have to determine your own depth of eye colour!
Are they almost black, or are the medium brown? If your eyes are dark brown, you should use medium to dark shades
of eye shadows. They will work well with your eye colour. You could try these colours “plum, forest green or even
charcoal grey” these will look amazing on you. Make sure you check out the flecks of lighter colour in your eyes and
use those hues to select your eye liner. Gold and bronzer colour eye shadows will emphasize your gorgeous dark
brown eyes every time.
For women with Medium brown eyes, try using these colour eye shadows ” green, violet or bronzer shades” these
will look amazing on you. You can truly wear almost any colour of eye makeup on your eyes. Very lucky! You
should embrace those beautiful eyes. For a day time look try using a purple or green eye shadows! You can
experiment by using neutral shadows with metallic eyeliner in copper or bronze for an evening wear.
For women with Light brown eyes should try to avoid black eyeliner and use dark brown eyeliner instead. Apply
a neutral shadow on the lid, an a darker colour in the crease, and then line your eyes in gold or green to reflect the
flecks of colour in your iris. If your eyes are of a slight hazel in colour try and use these colour tones “champagne,
violet, bronze or brown” to define the eyes.
Step 2: Mix’s things up:
If you use to much of the dark tones on your dark/medium brown eyes it can minimize the look of your eyes and
you don’t want that. You can mix things up by combining dark brown eyeliner with lighter eye shadows to put the
focus on your eyes by making them look big and bright. For a spectacular evening look for you brown eyed ladies
try using a metallic plum eyeliner along the bottom lash line. You will knock ’em dead every time with this eye colour
combination.
